Legacy of Earl Moodie & Moodie’s Records

Honoring a Bronx Legend: The Legacy of Earl Moodie and Moodie’s Records

Earl Moodie and Moodie's Records have been pillars of the Northeast Bronx community for decades, serving as a cultural hub and symbol of resilience. The May 24, 2025 celebration of Earl Moodie Street Renaming was a powerful reminder of his legacy. The renaming of 225th Street and White Plains Road to Earl Moodie’s Way honors his lasting impact on music, community, and local pride. Thanks to Councilman Riley, his team, and the Moodie family, his legacy will continue to inspire generations in the Bronx.
